要當美食作家,還真是不簡單呢!碰到我們這群急性子,每次菜上來時,都迫不急待的,先吃再說!想起要照相時,都是杯盤狼藉,慘不忍睹.這次,總算在吃前菜時,我緊急喊卡!!!要大家"不准動"!但是..前菜已經被毀了.還好,總算有照到主菜.嘿嘿嘿...只是...舊習難改..等到上甜點時,我又忘記照相了!!真糟糕...
這次國慶假期,我們去Santa Cruz海灘後,又去了一個小鎮Capitola.感謝姐夫預訂了一家歷史悠久,又相當知名的餐廳,建築物相當有特色的餐廳(ShadowBrook Restaurant 1750 Wharf Road, Capitola-by-the-Sea, California, 95010). 已經有五十年的歷史了,是蓋在半山腰的房子,靠著溪邊.還沒進到餐廳門口,就有個斜斜的纜車,很有噱頭! 用餐時還可以看到溪流,山腰上的花開的很美,餐廳還有自種香草料區,用餐完畢,還有樓梯步道,散步走走眺望風景,很有Feel. 可惜...菜沒有那麼好吃..其實也不是那麼難吃啦..只是感覺上,應該更有水準才是.

我點了草莓冰沙Strawberry Sensation (姍姍很喜歡,她喝了3/4...),姍爸點啤酒.姍大姨和姨丈點了兩杯白酒.

Fresh Alaskan Halibut (Cumin spice, citrus-herb salsa, five-grain wild rice pilaf, tangy avocado vinaigrette)
Seafood Risotto (Green lip mussels, clams, fresh fish, prawns, scallops, saffron risotto and basil artichoke sauce)
House speciality
Slow-roasted Certified Angus Prime Rib (buttermilk mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, Yorkshire pudding, horseradish cream and Cabernet jus)
Dessert combo platter (Crepe Patisseric, Cafe mocha creme brulee and chocolate covered “New York” style cheesecake square)
